I am a PhD candidate in political science at the University of Mannheim's Graduate School of Economics and Social Sciences (GESS) and a doctoral researcher at the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 884 on the "Political Economy of Reforms" (Project C2). My work focuses on comparative politics, especially party competition, party politics, and legislative behavior. I also do research on political methodology. Amongst others, my work has been published or is about to appear in peer-reviewed journals like Political Analysis, Political Science Research and Methods, and Electoral Studies.
